New Entrant

Our 5-unit entry to industry course is taken directly from the R1130920 Certificate III in Civil Construction training package.

By breaking down the barriers and perceived perceptions of the industry, we allow new entrants to commence work in the civil construction.

We deliver this unique 5-unit program in our Traden classrooms and at selected construction sites.

  • CPCCWHS1001– Prepare to work safely in the construction industry – White Card (delivered externally to Traden Construction School – free to participants)
  • RIIWHS201E– Work safely and follow WHS policies and procedures
  • RIICOM201E– Communicate in the workplace
  • RIIRIS201E– Conduct local risk control
  • RIIWHS302E– Implement traffic management plan

OUTCOMES

Participants who successfully complete this training program will be uniquely equipped to enter the civil construction industry.

Civil Labourer: entry-level position responsible for performing manual labour tasks on construction sites.
